Nature Trail

A trail just in back of the cabin leads up a winding hill. Sometimes I go by horseback, sometimes I simply walk, but every time I see something new and wonderful. Deer, birds, fox, and geese make their homes here. Wildflowers spring up in every season, and an old carved stone marks the resting place of someone long ago. The grave remains undisturbed, and it has become a place to sit and remember all of my loved ones that are no longer with me. The deer have learned that I will not harm them, and they graze carelessly nearby. It becomes my own outdoor chapel and place to reflect on my life and times. My cabin path helps me to take life one step at a time.
